The enclosure is CNC machined from a solid block of black walnut wood (padauk wood also available) that is laser-engraved and finished using a blend of natural oils for a highest quality fit and furniture-grade finish.
Sonically, the Amphora presents to the listener a natural and effortless musical presentation that highly resolved and addicting. This level of refinement couples musicality and warmth without sacrificing delicate detail retrieval and spatial cues in the music. The Amphora features the Red Wine Audio Isabella Headphone module, along with carefully selected premium components.
Measuring 7” wide x 5” deep x 3” tall and running off a internal battery for over 24 hours of listening per charge, the Amphora is the ultimate in transportability for use in your home or office - delivering a level of sound that is unmatched and unheard of in its price class!

Optional iPod (and iMod) dock
The optional iPod/iMod dock is built-into the top of the Amphora and provides for a convenient connection for your iPod (including the 5G/6G models, Nano, iPhone and iPod Touch) as well as for the 5G/5.5G iMod. This dock utilizes universal docking adapter plate for a perfect fit! It also provides the most direct connection to Amphora (bypassing line-out dock cables and connectors) for the very best sound quality.

"How does one describe the sound of nothing? I don’t want to sell the Amphora short by calling it a straight wire with gain, but there are simply no colorations of the sound, in the frequency domain, that I can ascribe to it. Using the Amphora as a reference, it was easy to pick out the coloration in the excellent Audio-GD C2C. When listening to the C2C by itself, one has to listen hard to notice any real coloration – it’s that good an amp....For a purely SS amp, I am not sure the Amphora has an equal in terms of naturalness and believability of the soundstage.......

Warranty
2-years for any manufacturing related defects (parts and labor included). The Li-Ion battery are not covered under the warranty. Opening the enclosure for any reason other than replacing the battery (as outlined in the included owner's manual) will VOID your warranty.
